About The Deepings u3a
The Deepings u3a (University of the Third Age) is a self-help organisation for people no longer in full time employment, offering learning, creative and social opportunities in a friendly environment. Part of the nationwide u3a movement, the branch runs more than 30 individual interest groups, covering subjects as varied as walking, history, gardening and science.
People new to u3a can attend a monthly meeting or try a specific group as a guest before deciding whether to join. A regular newsletter keeps members up to date with activities across the whole range of groups.
